To use StreamX Box, you need a display with an HDMI input, power and a suitable home network connection. Third-party app access is separate: check each provider’s device support, regional availability and subscription requirements before purchase.

Check the display connection

The StreamX Box product description specifies HDMI output and support for TVs, monitors and projectors with an HDMI input. Check the inputs on your own display and make sure you can select the correct source. The box does not replace the display or its controls.

Plan your internet connection

The product supports Wi-Fi and Ethernet. Home network quality and the app or media service you use affect the experience. A device’s output specification does not establish that every service will deliver the same picture quality on every network.

Understand subscriptions and app compatibility

US$199.99 includes the StreamX Box hardware package and 365 days of VIP service from first activation. Renewal is US$99 for another 365 days from renewal activation. Use the included VIP service on compatible iOS and Android phones and tablets after installing the required app. Mobile devices work independently over an internet connection, without connecting to the box at home. VIP access supports two devices at the same time. The US$99 renewal includes another 365 days of phone and tablet VIP access, customer support and hardware warranty extension under the same coverage conditions. The physical box is included with the initial purchase. Other third-party apps may require separate accounts or paid subscriptions.

If a particular service matters to your purchase, check that provider’s current compatibility information for the device and your country. Do not assume that an app’s availability on one Android device means it has identical features on another. StreamX does not control changes to third-party services.

A note about 4K

StreamX Box has 4GB RAM, 64GB storage and HDMI output up to 4K UHD. Its H.265 decoder supports up to 8K@24fps, but HDMI output remains limited to 4K. This describes an output capability. It is not a promise that every app or title is available in 4K. Display capability, source material, app support, subscription level and network conditions can all matter. Confirm the requirements of the specific service you intend to use.
